More info

The "jostaberry" (Jostaberry) is a cross between a black currant and a gooseberry. The advantage of this hybrid is that it has a good black- berry berry flavor and does not taste bitter. The berries can be eaten raw so.
The currant is larger than the black currant and has a diameter of 1-1.5 cm.
This plant is very large so needs lots of space.
On the ground / soil no special requirement is made. On almost all soils grow this berry good. A place in the sun creates a uniform ripening of the berries.
The fruits ripen around August / September.

Note: Plants are not available throughout the year so check beforehand to see if the plant is in stock. This also applies to long come to the store! To keep the quality of the fresh plants we have not standard on stock!
